Mina and Karen purchase and an old townhome in the popular Bates-Hendricks neighborhood. After encountering dry rot and termites, the unpredictable roadblocks put a giant dent in their budget and on their attitudes toward the project. But just when all hope seems lost, a rare and valuable “treasure” found during the ceiling demolition might have them changing their tune about this troublesome townhome.
